Instructions
Heat a large pot over medium heat and add olive oil. Sauté onions, celery, and bell peppers until soft.
Add the smoked sausage and chicken, cooking until lightly browned.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the okra, thyme, paprika, cayenne, and salt.
Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in apple cider vinegar before serving. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve hot with crusty cornbread or a fresh salad.
Notes
This soup tastes even better the next day. Store in the fridge and reheat when ready!
